In everything I do, I believe in empowering others. I believe we all deserve the opportunity to better ourselves, and to recognize our value and importance in the world.
My curiosity is endless, and my willingness to improve the lives of others knows no bounds. You can learn more about me below, or jump to the visuals.
Technology I Use:
Areas of Expertise:
Industrial Design
Product design is my historical area of expertise, and by historical, I mean I have literally been designing in 3D space since I was seven years old. I love any opportunity to think through how a product needs to feel or how a box needs to open; then creating the technical drawings, renderings, mockups, models, and prototypes necessary to turn those concepts into realities. My specializations are wood and paper assemblies, bent and laser cut metal, and molded plastic.
Design Research
When I’m not designing products, I’m thinking about designing products. Specifically, how to best gather feedback and insights from future users and industry specialists. In my experience, this can be creating and analyzing surveys, gathering visual data during field visits, testing wireframes and prototypes, or interviewing users. Often the product will dictate the process; my goal is to provide clarity of purpose, paving the way for faster development and more effective innovation.
Project Management
Ticking-all-the-boxes is my jam! I am very passionate about developing task tracking systems, managing calendars, and building visual dashboards. Besides the obvious benefit of having a real-time, sharable vision of your workload, I use project management tools to show a clear list of deliverables so all stakeholders can understand where we are and where we are going.
Creative Strategy
In combination with the R&D skills mentioned above, I know how critical developing systems and standards can be for expanding a unique market position—from branding solutions such as roadmaps, graphic design elements, messaging, and typography, to competitive analytics and industry benchmarks. I explore the best ways to support the sales force and craft the product story.
User Experience Design (UXD)
Whether physical or digital, the user experience is about keeping customers coming back. My goal is always to empower users with intuitive processes, removing unnecessary steps, and providing expertise—usually injecting a bit of humor during the boring bits. I do not see user experience design as a stand-alone skill, rather something woven into how all work gets done.
